September 2006 Archives
Meredith and JP were married on August 5, 2006. Meredith and JP were married at Dutch's Daughter's in Frederick, Maryland (http://www.dutchs.info/).
Let's go right to the pictures:
She was proud of her something blue!
Meredith and JP saw each other prior to the wedding, in order to do pictures beforehand. This time they included the bridal party in the first sight pictures!
Congratulations Meredith and JP, thank you for choosing me to photograph your wedding. I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness together. Thank you Brian for assisting me today.

Shannon and Adam were married on July 29, 2006! Another beautiful day for a wedding! IT was a tad hot - but lovely nonetheless.
Shannon and Adam were married at St. Joseph's Church in Beltsville, Md (http://www.parishesonline.com/Scripts/HostedSites/Org.asp?ID=8126) and the reception took place at The Women's Club of Chevy Chase (http://gfwcmd.org/clubs/chevychase/). Both locations were beautiful.
I will take a moment to share with you some of the vendors that helped make Shannon and Adam's wedding special. First and foremost was Laura Auer from Soiree Special Events, like usual Laura was fabulous! (http://www.soireespecialevents.com/).
Now let's see some pictures:
I caught this shot out of the corner of my eye - and got it just in time :) It is one of my favorites from this wedding. We had just finished formal time and I sent them away and back into the reception. I had gone out front to take a picture of the building and was walking back around to the back of the building - and saw them walking.
Finally: The bubble send off!
Congratulations Shannon and Adam, have a great time in Punta Cana! Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your wedding, it was truly an honor. I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness together! Thank you Sandy for assisting me today!

Megan and Josh were married on July 22, 2006! They had a lovely day for a wedding. I have actually done this post 2 times - and lost it each time - hopefully the third time is the charm. The first try - I had completed the post and went to submit - and the blogger thing timed out on me. The second time - I thought I will be smarter and save drafts this time - well again it seemed to disappear on me. This is really annoying because - THIS WAS A GORGEOUS wedding - so each time I do the post - it is long!!!
Trying again!
Megan and Josh got married at Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna, Virginia. (http://www.nvrpa.org/atrium.html). The Atrium at Meadowlark is a beautiful venue! I will take a moment to list the other vendors that Megan and Josh lined up for their wedding. All were great!!
Flowers: Growing Wild (http://www.growingwildfloral.com/)
Caterer: Knife and Fork (http://www.theknifeandfork.com/)
Cake: Custom Cakes (http://www.customcakedesign.com)
DJ: Percy Norman (http://www.masterproductionsdjs.com/)
Make-up: Kelley Epps (www.facemode.com)
Now onto the pictures:
One thing that Megan and Josh did that is becoming more and more common, is they saw each other prior to the wedding. We made it special, it was just the two of them and me and my assistant. We had Josh turn around to see Megan walking up a pathway to him. It was very romantic. This lead us into formals time. We first did pictures of just Megan and Josh, then we added the bridal party, then family. This is a great way to get the pictures done before the wedding. Megan and Josh were able to enjoy the full cocktail hour with their guests, and we were able to get great pictures because we weren't so rushed for time!
The reception had some beautiful colors and details everywhere!
And so did the ceremony:
I will stop now - because I could post pictures from this wedding all day long!
Thank you Megan and Josh for choosing me to be with you on your special day, it was truly an honor. I hope you had a great time in St. Lucia. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and love together. Thank you also to Sheryl for assisting me!

Erin and Mike were married on July 15, 2006! The day started out pretty rainy and icky, but then proceeded to get sunny and then rain again! The day ended with no rain! They say it is great luck to have rain on your wedding day! So - Erin and Mike should be very lucky!
Erin and Mike had their wedding at St. Aloysius Chruch in Washington, DC (http://www.stalschurchdc.org/) and the reception was held at Kenwood Country Club in Bethesda, MD (http://www.kenwoodcc.net/). Both sites were awesome! They also had rooms at the Hyatt Regency in Bethesda for their getting ready location.
Here are some pictures from their day:

Sarah and Matt were married on July 2, 2006! Another beautiful day for a wedding! Sarah and Matt chose the cutest venue. I had never been there before and almost wish I could get married again just to have my wedding there!
The site was Garrett Park Town Hall in Garrett Park Maryland! (http://www.garrettpark.org/guide/d_tnhall.html). The site was built in 1897 and is just lovely!
Another thing I loved about Sarah and Matt's event - is they did a hawaiin theme! They had such great color everywhere and really relaxed and had a great time with their friends and families!!
Here are a few pictures from the event:
Thank you both for choosing met to photograph your wedding! Thank you to Sandy who assisted me! I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness together!!

Stacy and Jay were married on July 1, 2006! They had a lovely day for a wedding. The ceremony was held at a church in Walkersville, Maryland called St. Timothy's (http://home.catholicweb.com/SaintTimothy/index.cfm) . I have photographed a wedding at this church before and it is always nice. The windows let in great light!
They held their reception at Martin's in Frederick, Maryland (http://www.martinscaterers.com/facilitiesWalkersville.asp). This is a great venue in the Frederick area.
Jay is a fireman so we got some great shots with the firetruck!
They had some of the cutest kids at this wedding!
Here are a few photos from the event:
