March 2007 Archives
I was second shooting today for the Regeti's from Regetis Photography (www.regeti.com) and had a great time.
Here are some of my images from today:

I had the opportunity to assist Amy and Srinu Regeti from Regeti's Photography (http://www.regeti.com/) twice this month. Once was a wedding on March 3rd and once was the Heartsongs MDA GALA in Washington DC (http://www.heartsongsgala.org/).
You may have heard of Mattie Stepaneck - this is from their website: The Heartsongs Gala began in February 2003 to celebrate poet and peacemaker Mattie Stepanek's philosophy and message of peace, joy and "listening to your heartsong". Before he lost his battle with neuromuscular disease in June 2004, Mattie expressed his desire that the Gala continue for years to come to raise much-needed funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
MDA is consistently recognized as one of the best managed non-profit health organizations. This is possible through the support of individual and corporate contributions. All of the net proceeds from the Gala will help Greater Washington DC area children and adults with neuromuscular diseases.
I was honored to be a part of this years celebration, and hopefully next year I can volunteer in another way as well.
Some of the key guests included Comedian Larry Miller, Tony Perkins from Fox 5, Hank Cominiello the President of Safeway Foods, Radio King Orchestra provided the music, while Pilipino American Cultural Arts Society provided some entertainment.
Here are some of the images that I took at the GALA, you can view more on the Regeti's blog (http://blog.regeti.com/), Thank you Amy and Srinu for letting me tag along, it was a great experience.

It took me a bit to get through the 5000 pictures I took in Georgia - and I finally am finished.
This is Crystal and her family. A bit of background - Crystal and I have known each other since the 2nd grade!! She has always been one of my best friends. She saw a lot of my work on my blog and elsewhere and said - "what can I do to get you to come take pictures or me and my family?" I told her line up some other friends and we can do a marathon. So Crystal bought me a plane ticket and I had 9 seperate photo sessions in 2 days. It was a whirlwind of a trip and I can't wait to do it again!
Here are some of the pictures of her family:
Thank you Crystal, for always being such a great friend, and for letting me come into your life and capture it on camera. You have an amazing family, and you are a great wife, mother and friend!
If so, check out a brand new web site, WedFog.com - it is all about answering photography related questions for brides. Hundreds of photographers from around the world (including myself) compiled useful information about wedding photography in one site. So if you are a bride certainly check out this site to gain some useful information on the subject of wedding photography!

And Back to Georgia! Here is Britta's Boudoir session from my trip to Georgia. These pictures were all selected and approved by the client to be posted to the blog!
The recipient of these pictures Chris (whom you can see Britta and Chris together a few posts ago!) is in the military and may be serving our country overseas soon. Britta wanted Chris to have some cool pictures to take with him!
Here is what I saw:
And finally, this is a shot of all four Georiga Boudoir girls in their normal clothes!! This was a great fun session, and if you and your friends want to do something simliar - just let me know!
--------
This is another session from Georgia. I grew up with Crystal and April living up the street from me - so it is great to see her as a mom. It is kind of strange but great! This is April and her family! We had a great time, they really had no idea what to expect from a photo session with Kerry - I think they enjoyed it a ton, in fact they are asking when I will come back to Georgia so I can photograph more of April's friends. I really wanted to capture them being a family - not just sitting and smiling for the camera, I think we accomplished what I set out to do!

Here are some more pictures from my photography marathon in Georgia from February.
"A" didn't want her name used but picked these pictures to be shared with my blog readers.
Thank you for choosing some of my favorites!!
A note to blog readers - If you know who "A" is and you happen to stumble upon these pictures do not mention these to her fiance as they are a surprise!! SHHHH!!
