Congratulations Jacque and Chris. Thank you for choosing me to photograph your wedding, it was truly an honor. You both are beautiful people and I loved your families and friends - and your taste in bands :) I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness together. Let me know how the Silo was, as I want to stay there someday!
Thank you Heather for assisting me today.
Amy and PJ were married at Rose Hill Manor in Leesburg, Virginia. We had a lovely day for the wedding allbeit very hot! But hey, there was no rain!!
Notable vendors: DJ - Dream Day DJ's
Coordinator - Topped With a Bow
Flowers - Petal's Edge
Caterer - R&R Catering
Here is what I saw:

I mentioned how hot it was - well some of the wedding party decided to take a dip in the pool at the end of the evening. While the people from Rose Hill didn't care for this - they had a good time.

Thank you Kelly for assisting me today!
Anna and Aaron are another one of my past clients. I shot their wedding in June of 2004! Well again they now have a baby (I detect a theme here :).
Aaron called me and asked if I could surprise Anna and just pop up during their mother's day picnic. I have never felt more like a stalker :) Seriously - this was loads of fun. I loved seeing them again and meeting Connor. We met at a winery in Purcellville. Turns out, this wasn't the first time Aaron has done this type of thing for Anna - I guess they were on Perfect Proposal when they got engaged! So Anna at one point said - "is someone with a camera going to jump our of the bushes?" And sure enough someone did! I even caught that moment when she saw me!!

I am not sure how I missed posting this session. Tara and John were my first professional wedding that I shot in 2004! Well they have now had a baby and hired me to shoot a family session for them. We met in Harpers Ferry and had a lot of fun.
Here is what I saw:
John, Tara, and Maya, thank you for having me photograph your family! I had a great time. I can't wait to watch your family grow (up- not necessarily grow in numbers :)

Today I had two events. I had two people meet me through the Frederick Bridal Show (http://www.wedding-expo-maryland.com/) that I do every January. Both happened to only want a couple of hours and both were local events - so I said yes to both!!
First up Mary and Mark!
This is a very nice couple. I was hired to cover the before the ceremony, ceremony, and the formals. My June 23rd clients Marissa and Travis referred me to this couple and were also at the wedding! In fact Travis was the best man! Now not to embarass Travis - but he learned the hard way. BE SURE TO DRINK WATER ON YOUR WEDDING DAY!! Poor Travis passed out during the ceremony - i believe due to hydration. He has a list of rules from me and his furture wife as to what not to do on his wedding day! I will keep an eye on him!!
Here is what I saw:
Now onto Hannah and Jeremy:
This couple was really nice. They had me come at the end of their ceremony and really just do formals.
Here is what I saw:
This was not only their first kiss as Man and Wife - but their first kiss whatsoever - I had to catch for them - even though I wasn't to cover the ceremony!

Stacy and Scott were married on this gorgeous day. Poor Stacy was concerned about the weather - I assure her that no matter the weather it would all be fine!! She and Scott ended up with a lovely day - a bit of rain threatened her ceremony. Now the rain didn't hold off the whole evening - by the end of the reception it was a downpour!!!
Today's event was held at Thorpewood in Thurmont, Maryland (http://www.thorpewood.org/) - and it is a great place to have a wedding - it may go down as another of my most favorite venues!! The flowers, music and food were fabulous too!! Spot was the florist (http://www.spotfloraldesign.com/) (side note we use the same web designer - http://www.ekotadesign.com/), and I can't find my cards from the musicians or the caterer - but will add that info when I can!!
Here is what I saw:
Stacy and Scott - Thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your special day! It truly was an honor. I wish you both a life time of love and happiness together! Have a great time in Capri!!!
Thank you Brian for assisting me today!
