This was a great wedding! Angie and Shannon and their families and friends were lots of fun and were up for just about anything for the photos and for this wedding including rating the first kiss during the ceremony!

Destination Wedding: The El Dorado Royale - Riviera Maya, Mexico - Day After Session

Here are a few pictures from our day after session with Melanie and Jack. You will notice Melanie had a different dress! Some people call these Trash the Dress Sessions - I like to call them "we did" or day after sessions! I think "trash the dress" scares some brides away.

Day after sessions are great fun! Whether we are at a destination or still here in Maryland, DC or Virginia - definately consider doing a day after session!

Destination Wedding: The El Dorado Royale - Riviera Maya, Mexico

I was commissioned by Melanie and Jack to photograph their wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico! Russell and I were thrilled to do our first official Destination Wedding. Yes you read that correctly, Russell was the invaluable assistant for this wedding!

Destination weddings are great, Melanie and Jack provided Russell and I with a room at the resort for 4 days! I was able to be there for the welcome reception, the wedding and reception and we even did a day after session!

The resort was The El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Here is what I saw:

Keri and Matt were married in Baltimore at St. Leo's Church and Martin's East. The weather was kind of icky and rainy, but the wedding was still beautiful!

On October 15th, I was commissioned to go to the Hospital for one of my clients. Nathan Charles arrived a bit early and was in the ICU. I am happy to report - I am about to do the second year in the life photo session with him in the next couple of weeks!!

Michelle and Tony were (well are!) a beautiful couple! It was a great honor to be a part of their wedding day. Today's wedding was held at The Liberty Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania.

so as you all know I am behind on the blog!

I have at least 6 posts for October 2007, 4 for November 2007, and 14 from December 2007, 2 from January 2008, 3 from February 2008, and so far 1 for March 2008.

SO - I will flashback to the posts from days gone by! But I might post current sessions as well.

So the next post will be a family session from February! The Brunks are a family that I have shot before, but they have a new addition to the family! They had me come and take photos of the new baby Leah (Yay - they were so excited to have a girl!) and the whole family!

Adriana and Ryan's wedding featured in Engaged Magazine!!

So this will be my last post regarding Adriana and Ryan's wedding - but I wanted to share something very exciting about their wedding!

Engaged Magazine did a feature on their wedding in their Spring 2008 issue for Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia! I was hired to assist Regetis Photography and I was really excited to see that some of the photographs that the editor selected for the feature were shot by ME!!! You will recognize the images from the images that I posted! Again, Thank you to Amy and Srinu for having me assist them for this amazing wedding!

Adriana and Ryan Part 3! The Day After!

I was invited to assist and shoot during the day after session with Adriana and Ryan. We met them at Lansdowne Resort and then proceeded to go back to down town Leesburg, Virginia where they got married to take some fun bridal portraits!

Here is what I saw:

Day after sessions are great fun! The pressure of the actual wedding day has vanished! You can really let your hair down and we can have a great time! And we don't have to worry about the dress getting a little dirty (if that even happens!) To any of my brides out there - THINK ABOUT HAVING A DAY AFTER SESSION!! (or a week after, or a month after, or even a YEAR after!) Lets give that dress another whirl!

Thank you Adriana and Ryan - I had a great time! And Adriana - your step-dads care ROCKS! Amy and Srinu - Thank you yet again!! I always have a great time working with you guys!
